You need to drop by a grand to shift it, you ruined it by putting a longer stroke shock on it, all the angles are messed up and it was never designed to take those forks, Mr Smith bought it as an XC bike with 100/125mm travel fork to match the 120mm rear travel, possibly you best bet would be to strip it and sell the parts either through the shop, ebay or on here.

If you could measure the lenght of the seat tube, the post diameter maybe on the seatpost, I am intrested as I have a shed full of bits just need a frame and fork to build them onto as its appears easier to move on a complete bike than a collection of parts and I did not wish to spent a lot of cash as I need it to move quick as there is not much room in the shed what with her Trek, my Whyte and road bike.

What size is it and if possible the diameter of the seatpost required.

Many Thanks

I had a 2009 Zesty the same as this that was upgraded with the following, I had XT Cranks on a 36 single ring with a MRP guide, a 11 - 36 cassette on the rear.
Wheels were Mavic 819 rims on Hope Pro II hubs, I would leave the forks on it as they really do suit the rear shock and anything else would probably upset the overall feel.
Hope this helps.

Need to swap them over, I did have a 2.4 Ardent on the front and a 2.25 on the rear but the 2.4 might be a bit much in the mud, still tinkering at the mo

Alright, Just wondering what the best price you can do on the frame and fork, also would the headset be included and I'm guessing thats the seatpost is a Santa Cruz standard 30.9.
Many Thanks,
Dave.

Ah that brings back memories. I had a Scott FX1 somewhere around that time about 1999 if my memory is correct, sadly I managed to snap the main pivot off it while step jumping.

Its not too bad really, I had to mount it so far forward to get the view right but it was a small sacrifice to make.

You mention that there has been a spray job, to what extent have they been re-sprayed, was it spray over the powdercoat or a complete re-paint.
Cheers.

I was only in Evans to buy a new riding top and ended up looking at this so my good lady told me to buy it, its the full wide angle HD one with all the different mounts, the one its on at the moment had to be somewhat bastardised to get a solid fixing because of the strange positioned vents on my helmet.
