If you could measure the lenght of the seat tube, the post diameter maybe on the seatpost, I am intrested as I have a shed full of bits just need a frame and fork to build them onto as its appears easier to move on a complete bike than a collection of parts and I did not wish to spent a lot of cash as I need it to move quick as there is not much room in the shed what with her Trek, my Whyte and road bike.
I had a 2009 Zesty the same as this that was upgraded with the following, I had XT Cranks on a 36 single ring with a MRP guide, a 11 - 36 cassette on the rear.
Wheels were Mavic 819 rims on Hope Pro II hubs, I would leave the forks on it as they really do suit the rear shock and anything else would probably upset the overall feel.
Hope this helps.
